John Gruel An Adrian native, John has both an undergraduate and graduate degree from the University of Michigan. He has been in public accounting since 1968. He served four year with a national accounting firm before joining a predecessor firm. John's client service areas are manufacturing, contracting, retail and food services industries. Email: john@cpas1.com Ken Roof A native of Dundee, MI and graduate of Eastern Michigan University, Ken started in public accounting when he joined a national accounting firm in 1968. After spending two years with that firm, he served as the chief financial officer for two companies during a three year venture into private industry. He returned to public accounting in 1973 with a predecessor firm. Ken has experience with manufacturing, contractors and medical clients. He specializes in the estate and trust area of our practice. He has responsibility for the firm's adherence to technical accounting and tax pronouncements. Jim works primarily with clients in the manufacturing and construction industries. His client base consists of manufacturing, contracting, non-profit organizations and governmental units. In addition, Brian works extensively with employee benefit plan audits. Prior to joining the firm, he served as a corporate accountant for a multi-national manufacturing business. Her clients are in the manufacturing, contracting and service industries. She provides controllorship services to a number of clients.
